Visitors can easily access it in five languages using their mobile phone and a QR code reader app.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The premier happened during the highest state level visit at the memorial site and the first joint visit of Slovene and Croatian president.\u00a0 They payed their respect to the victims\u00a0of\u00a0 the internment on\u00a0the\u00a077th anniversary of the liberation of the concentration camp Rab.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.instituteapis.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/119003526_681470836053201_7976330024289044181_n.jpg\"><img class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1530\" src=\"http:\/\/www.instituteapis.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/119003526_681470836053201_7976330024289044181_n.jpg\" alt=\"119003526_681470836053201_7976330024289044181_n\" width=\"744\" height=\"558\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>On this occasion our exhibition <a href=\"http:\/\/www.instituteapis.org\/last-witnesses\/\">Last Witnesses<\/a>\u00a0was opened at the Town Library Rab and Slovene and Croatian president were taken on a guided tour.<\/p>\n<p>At the end one of the co-authors, Sa\u0161a Petejan, gifted them a photo book <a href=\"http:\/\/www.guardiansofthespoon.com\/book\/\">Guardians of the spoon<\/a>, serving the same goal: preserving the memory on\u00a0\u00a0the existence of Italian fascist concentration camps and the internment of Slovenes, Croats and Jews. The book is winner of 2017 International PhotoBook Award in Los Angeles and received and award on 32. Slovenian bookfair (2016) for best design among monographic and bibliophilic books.<\/p>\n<p>The video narration was made with\u00a0the support of a German <a href=\"https:\/\/www.stiftung-evz.de\/eng\/home.html\">EVZ Fundation<\/a> and in collaboration with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.documenta.hr\/en\/home.html\">Documenta<\/a>. During this period they created a large collection of oral history and art work. You can access it through a documentary exhibition, radio and TV documentary, a photo book , educational materials with a focus on experiential learning and latest through a video narrative in five languages.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<blockquote><p>This work is\u00a0an act of remembrance and a way to pay respect to the victims of Italian fascist camps. It is an attempt to make known the politically induced loss of European historic memory.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>On the other hand the body of work we are creating over the extended period of time contributes to Slovene oral history records.
